Hroznová 4, Praha 1
“The House of the Little Bay Horse”. An historical original house situated in The Kampa Island, between the Moldau and the Devil’s Canal, beside the Charles Bridge and The Kampa Park, in the heart of Mala Strana in Prague 1, realized over the centuries, throughout the Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque periods; the actual configuration of the facade has been unchanged since the end of XVIII century. Between 2002 and 2005 a rigorous and homogenous high level restoration made the house historically identical to its origin, luxury and charming at once; it emphasizes the very important architectural components: renaissance vaults at the ground floor, decorated wooden ceilings at 1st and 2nd floors, wooden roof timbers, original wooden stair and others.
The building, inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage Site list, has been divided in 9 apartments (including two beautiful attics, on three levels, and three flats with private courtyards) some of them with a magic view on the Prague Castle, the gothic tower of the Charles Bridge, the Devil’s Canal with the antique water-mill and the Petrin Hill.
The quarter is rich in attractive sites, like the Kampa Park, the Moldau, the Charles Bridge, the St. Nicholas Cathedral, the square of Mala Strana and other important and historical palaces.
In the surrounding you can find a parking – residential parking zone, public transport, shops, coffee-bar, pubs, restaurants, concert-halls, jazz bars, antiques shops and other.
