Anny Letenské 3+5, Praha 2
History of the buildings.
It is a couple of buildings which was built at the beginning of the 20th century; it consists of 25 apartments, of which 4 are located at the mezzanine level with a private garden, 2 at the 2nd floor with a balcony and, upper, there are 5 double-level attics at 5th and 6th floor with a terrace, facing a suggestive view on the roofs of Prague. About the buildings: at n. 3 you can see a rich Neo-Baroque façade and inside a superb “Secese” (Liberty) staircase, at n. 5 the Neo-Baroque façade and the staircase have a more simple design.
Thanks to a refined and philological reconstruction, ended in 2006, the two buildings have been connected together by a common garden of two levels with lift towers in crystal, where the green and the light of a fountain create a suggestive atmosphere, especially during the night.
The buildings are located in Vinhorady, an aristocratic area of Prague 2, beside The Riegrovy Sady Park and The Vinohrady Theatre, a 5 minutes walk from Venceslav square and The National Museum.
In the surrounding area you can find little markets, restaurants, wine-bars, but also many theaters and sport centers. A very good location for residence and holiday and an interesting location for business stay; the buildings are near the underground station and the main public transport lines you need in namesti Miru, where is located The Vinohradi Theatre; a private parking is available beside namesti Miru, in Italska street.
A high-level restoration, completed at the end of 2006, gave the original historical identity back to the buildings in all its details; each apartment has been developed with the original distribution, has been fully refurbished to the highest specification with great care taken to caring a high level of interior design (luxury bathrooms, elegant furnishings, with oriental carpets).
